FBI Takes Down Outsider Enterprise Phishing Platform
FBI and partners seized admin domains plus thousands of phishing sites run by Outsider Enterprise, a Chinese phishing-as-a-service operation using AI kits.
The platform operated since 2023 with over 8,000 domains. It enabled theft of roughly 3.87 million credit cards and $1.9 billion in losses. FBI Cleveland led with Google and Black Lotus Labs under Operation Riptide.
This hits the infrastructure hard. They rerouted domains to FBI pages and grabbed $100K in crypto. The operators behind it remain in China with no arrests reported.
They also leveraged the service's own Telegram bot to pull customer data during the takedown.
