1. Introduction and Agreement
Welcome to Cyber Recaps ("Cyber Recaps", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, https://cyberrecaps.com/, our newsletter, and all related content and services (collectively, the "Services").
These Terms, together with our Privacy Notice, form a binding legal agreement between you ("you" or "the user") and Cyber Recaps.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease use of the Services immediately. We may modify this Agreement from time to time and will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Content Policy, Fair Use, and Intellectual Property
a. Content Source and Fair Use Policy Our Services operate as a news aggregation, summary, and commentary platform. The content we publish is based on, derived from, or summarizes articles and reports from other public news sources.
We do not claim ownership or copyright over the original source material. All rights to the original works belong to their respective authors and publishers. Our use of this material is intended to constitute "Fair Use" for purposes of news reporting, commentary, and education.
b. Attribution We will make a reasonable effort to provide attribution and a direct link to the original source material for all content we summarize or reference.
c. Your Use of Our Content Our content is a derivative work based on third-party copyrighted material. We grant you no license to republish, copy, or distribute our summaries or analyses. Any reuse of our content by you is entirely at your own risk, as it may be subject to the copyright claims of the original publisher.
d. Our Brand and Site Design The Cyber Recaps logo, website design, trade dress, layout, and overall visual appearance ("Branded Materials") are our exclusive intellectual property, created by us. You may not use, copy, or imitate our Branded Materials without our express prior written permission.
3. User Conduct, AI Crawling, and Security Policy
As a user of the Services, you agree not to:
- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or our servers.
- Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Use our Branded Materials (as defined in Section 2.d) without our express permission.
a. AI Crawling and Model Training We expressly permit AI crawlers to access and scan the public content on our Services for the purposes of development, training, and improvement of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) models.
b. Security and Responsible Disclosure We request that you do not attempt to breach, disrupt, or harm the security of the Services. This newsletter is intended for the benefit of the community.
If you discover a security vulnerability, we would appreciate it if you would report it to us directly via email at contact@cyberrecaps.com. We do not have a formal bug bounty program, but we value the community's efforts to keep our Services safe.
